Abstract:Aiming at the problem that the shape coefficient is an empirical constant, which leads to the inaccurate simulation results obtained by using Whitham equation for missile shock wave simulation, an improved simulation method based on Whitham equation is proposed. Different shape coefficients are used in shock wave amplitude and period simulation, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis is used to model and optimize. The results show that the proposed method can improve the accuracy of missile shock wave simulation,and has universal applicability.
