Abstract:The echo modeling method of monopulse forward-looking imaging of missileborneradar was studied. By analyzing the principle of monopulse forward-looking imaging,two modules of missile motion model and echo model were designed. The echo modelincluded the calculation of the antenna pattern in the beam scan and the construction of theecho expression. It is verified that the method can effectively obtain the one-dimensionaldistance image of targets through simulation, and the correctness of the target echoamplitude change during scanning is proved by test, which provides an analytical basis forsubsequent monopulse forward-looking imaging.
