The conventional beamforming method is constrained by the Rayleigh limitand cannot effectively distinguish the two targets in the main lobe. When arrays are affectedby gain-phase errors, the parameter estimation accuracy and resolution will decrease.Aiming at the question, the method of calibrating the gain-phase errors of the twodimensionalarray by using the strong echo signal was studied, and the array smoothingmethod using smoothing multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm to deal withcoherent echo signal was given. Simulations illustrate the effectiveness of the gain-phaseerror estimation algorithm, and show that the gain-phase error has a negative effect on thetarget resolution, and the target angle super resolution performance can be restored aftercalibration.
