The manufacturing methods and shortcoming of current wave-transparentceramic components were analyzed, and the significance of developing ceramic 3D printingtechnology for rapid production and precise molding of complex structure radome wasintroduced. The ceramic 3D printing routings and the current main ceramic printing methodswere described. On the basis of the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of differentceramic 3D printing process, 3D printing process for wave-transparent ceramics withdifferent structures was pointed out. Combined with the manufacturing requirements ofmissile radome, the shortcomings of 3D printing equipment, printing materials and printingtechnology were introduced, and the development emphasis of 3D printing for large-sizewave-transprant ceramic components was put forward.
